Roll away my stone,
its name is doubt.
Roll away my stone,
its name is insecurity.
Roll away my stone,
its name is pride.
Roll away my stone,
its name is fear.
Roll away my stone,
my name is faith.
Roll away my stone,
my name is surety.
Roll away my stone,
my name is humility.
Roll away my stone,
your name is fearless.

I love the repetition of Roll away and name. The structure works well with the listing quality. I like the opposite qualities that divide the poem. Nice! For all our stones!! God Bless…
This was inspired by Deacon Reef’s encouragement at our Ignite event. Going up to the monstrance afterward, being so close to the Eucharist, was a powerful moment….. surprising things were revealed. Thank you for your kind words, Cynthia!
