I watch the leaves flap and twirl around their branches,
hear them brushing, clustering, sweeping, waving
while my hair lies flat, my skin restful.
And then
it hits me, the wind
lifts my hair and ruddies my cheeks.
I see it coming like God,
like Love, invisible
but for all that moving.

I love the invisible God and love seen through movement! I can feel this wind by your details. Always lovely!!! The autumn is so inspiring is it not???? Thank you for your beautiful words and insight. They are inspiring and powerful. Enjoy…
I also wanted to comment on how wonderful the title is. I love how it bookends the last line and the deep meaning. I also like the addition of “like love” after “like God” as they move as one. Intriguing piece!!
Thank you, cynthia! Autumn is an inspiration and a blessing.
