6 week session, Sept. 23 – Oct. 28
6 week session, Nov. 11 – Dec. 16
$55 per session or $13 drop-in
Butterfly House

Slow and Steady is a 75 minute early morning practice of mindful moving, conscious breathing, and gratitude meditation that will strengthen the muscles of our bodies, minds, and spirits.  We will focus on holding the postures for a longer length of time and moving at a slower pace.  Keep in mind that “slow and steady” does not translate as “super easy!”  Moving at a slower pace and holding postures for a length of time longer than our natural inclination is a mental challenge that specifically strengthens our muscles of focus and concentration, as well as the physical muscles of our quadriceps and abdominals.

To ask questions or to register, please email: contact@thecatholicyogi.com or visit the contact page.

Gentle Yoga will explore mindful breathing and moving, foundational yoga poses, and deep relaxation.  Easy-going, invigorating, & restorative.  All levels welcome!

Veterans Yoga in Richland County was founded by Dale Warren as a way to support veterans and their families.  Area teachers take turns leading free weekly classes for veterans, as well as their family members.  My classes (specific dates listed above) will focus on mindful breathing and moving, the relationship between the body and mind, and the ways in which a regular yoga practice can help relieve stress and uncover a sense of balance and ease in daily life, as well as in particularly stressful circumstances.  To find out more, please email questions to Dale at veteransyoga@aol.com and keep in touch with veterans yoga via facebook.
