Be lovable

I am so focused on loving
the people in my home through service
(cooking, cleaning, compromising)
that I forget to let those darling people
love me.

It is time
to be accessible,
to lie on the floor,
to be within reach,
to slow down,
to sit and play.

It is time to be lovable.
