July 8, 15, 22, & 29

Yoga on the Lawn is a gentle, all-levels class in which we will cultivate mindfulness through movement and breath work. We will practice postures and mindful breathing to create space within the body for healing and to bring about an overall sense of well-being.

Dew-soaked grass and sunny skies can make for an invigorating yoga practice, and surrounding trees can provide ample shade.  Please bring a mat, blanket, towel, or even sunglasses as you see fit.  As this class is held outdoors, inclement weather is a concern. Please register by visiting the contact page at (or signing up to follow,) so that you will be notified if class is cancelled.

Veterans Yoga in Richland County was founded by Dale Warren as a way to support veterans and their families.  Area teachers take turns leading free weekly classes for veterans, as well as their family members.  My classes (specific dates listed above) will focus on mindful breathing and moving, the relationship between the body and mind, and the ways in which a regular yoga practice can help relieve stress and uncover a sense of balance and ease in daily life, as well as in particularly stressful circumstances.  To find out more, please email questions to Dale at and keep in touch with veterans yoga via facebook.

Yoga Gives!

Hi, Yoga Friends,
It feels good to do yoga;
it feels good to help others;
and it feels great to do both at the same time.
The Yoga for Life Benefit class is tomorrow, Thursday, February 23rd, and will directly support Mid-Ohio Guardianship Services.
Mid-Ohio Guardianship Services, Inc. (MOGS) is a non-profit program for Richland County that provides guardianship for those 21 and over who have no one to see to their medical, financial, and living decisions.  These people have been deemed incompetent by the Richland County Probate Court and need an advocate to assist with decision making.  MOGS is a volunteer-based program that provides advocates for those in need.
Consider attending the Restorative Yoga class tomorrow from 9:30am – 10:30am at the Butterfly House in Mansfield, experience rest and renewal, and help your local community at the same time.
Of course, you don’t need to attend the yoga class in order to donate.  If you are interested you may mail your donation to:
