Thank you to all who attended the Yoga for Life benefit class.  We collected lots of surprises for the nursing home residents to enjoy!

Yoga for Life is an easy-going all-levels class. We will engage in a mindful exploration of breathing and moving that will not only benefit our bodies, minds, and spirits, but will also benefit the members of our community through our donations. You are enthusiastically invited to give items that will help brighten the day of area nursing home residents.  The Nursing Home Luncheon ministry of Resurrection parish needs bingo prizes.  Winners enjoy small stuffed animals, baseball caps, playing cards, hand lotions, writing tablets/journals, stationary, single serving snacks, etc.  No pre-registration is needed, and you need not participate in class in order to donate!

The Nursing Home Luncheon group at Resurrection Parish in Lexington serves residents of the following nursing homes in the area: Country Meadows, Crystal Care, Day Springs and Lexington Court.  They serve a lunch followed by bingo during the months of April thru November.  In December they treat the nursing home residents to a special Christmas Dinner and program.  There is always a need for donated bingo prizes, helping hands to serve the guests and/or make a salad or dessert.  If you would like more information or to get involved, please contact Resurrection Parish @ 419-884-0060.
