Summer 2019 Yoga update

Introducing Yoga By Appointment!

Hi, Dear Yoga Friends,

It’s been a wild winter season, and  spring has been only more packed with beautiful performances, shows, recitals, competitions, matches, games, and awards ceremonies.   I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a less-than-rigid schedule.  How about we connect in different ways this summer?

I will be available to schedule private sessions, small group classes, workshops for you, your family, friends, and co-workers.  We can plan the curriculum based on your interest:  yoga philosophy, postures, breath work, meditation, Body Prayer, Christian practice, Yoga for Kids, Yoga for Resilience, Yoga for Healing,  Power Yoga, etc,

Please tap on the contact & registration link to get in touch with me, or email: amy@thecatholicyogi.com.  Let me know your intention for practice (the answer to the question, “why yoga?”), your needs and wants, as well as a few dates and times that could work for you.  We’ll schedule our time together at the location that best suits you and our schedules.

Pricing, or your investment, will vary based on location, length of class time, as well as how many people will take the class with you.

In other news, last month I completed a 100-hour Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Teacher Training, and have been able to share my new knowledge with a Women’s Empowerment Group through Catalyst Life Services in Mansfield, Ohio.   Our six-week Mindfulness Based Emotional Resilience Yoga class was a benefit to all involved, including me!  Additionally, I also shared these new skills with my English Composition students at the local college, and I applied these skills directly to my family life, during which time they immediately became wisdom practices.

I’m also happy to announce that I’ve decide to continue my studies at Yoga on High and will be completing my 500-hour training over the next 12 – 24 months.  I’m looking forward to learning and growing.

Lastly, I hope to spend some of my unscheduled time redesigning this website.  it’s time to bring TheCatholicYogi out of the 1990’s, don’t you think?

I’m not a social media guru, nor am I tech savvy, and neither do I want to hire someone to do this for me.  So, it might take me a while, and I might mess up and lose everything.  All this is to say, copy and paste my email address (amy@thecatholicyogi.com) somewhere in case you need to get in touch with me while the contact & registration page is down.  You can also find The Catholic Yogi on Instagram (where I either post 20 things in a row or it’s crickets).  My Facebook and Twitter pages are linked to this website, and I rarely (okay, never) post directly to either of those channels; but you can still check them out, because, you know, I might not break my website.

Lastly, Finally, I’ve teamed up with Christians Practicing Yoga, “a network of Christians practicing yoga to go to God the way God came to us, in and through the body.”  I’ll be sharing a space on their contributors list/blogging team to continue discussing the ways Christianity and Yoga intersect and inform each other.  Please check them out.  They sing my heart song in many ways, but more on that later.  For now, go, read!!   (Can you tell how much I want you to check them out?  I’ve linked to their site five times!)

Oh!  Wait, one more thing: There’s a Collaborative Yoga Event in the works to take place in Mansfield this  September.  (September is National Yoga Month – who knew?)  So be on the lookout for more info on that coming out June 1st.

Friends,

Thank you so much for your continued support, encouragement, practice, and interest in Yoga.  I am grateful for you and all your inner work.  I wouldn’t be here without you.  May God’s love manifest within and around you, today and every day.

Happy Practicing!

(Okay, okay…)

Big Love,
                        Amy  🙂
